Greetings CV Family-

There are so many things to touch on this month. The most important one, however, is giving. In these days after Hurricane Ivan it is most important to take time to give to the relief effort. Have no money, give time; have no time, give money. Make telephone calls for aid organizations or contact your consulate to find out what you can do. It is when times are most hard that we see how far a little caring can go. To the residents of Grenada, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and the Cayman Islands – we are here for you.

Summer is over! Just that fast. We jumped up on the Parkway and celebrated our colors.
This summer has been full of activities and opportunities to get together outdoors for concerts and festivals. The Olympics brought gold medals back to the region with our Caribbean athletes giving the world a run. Congratulations to you all.

Along with cooler temperatures comes the return of school days. Parents are happy they survived another summer vacation and October is now closer than June. Ladies remember that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month--- get your screenings and do those self-exams.

I’d like to welcome those of you reading this magazine on North American Airlines. We are honoured to be the latest addition to their in flight reading service. Travel safely and we hope to see you at the many events and businesses featured on our pages as you travel North America and the world.

Finally, as we remember the fallen victims of the September 11th terror bombings, we send thoughts of peace to the families and friends of the lost and the survivors.
