CV MAGAZINE TO LAUNCH BUSINESS
NETWORKING SESSION
CV Magazine, the tri-state's premier Caribbean
and Urban Entertainment Magazine, will
officially launch their premier business
networking session on Saturday November
13, 2004, at the JRG Fashion Café,
177 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.
The Networking segment kicks off at 8pm
and partying begins around midnight. The
formula for the event promises an exciting
evening, designed to bring the business
community in focus and to develop a grass
roots approach to consumer interaction.
CV, for each event, will invite four to
six members of the business community
to present their products and services
up close and personal to current and potential
customers in a setting which is non-obtrusive
and inviting.
Our concept is relax, network and have
fun, according to Dr. John Dixon, of Caribbean
Media Marketing, consultants to CV Magazine.
"We want to create an atmosphere
that fosters just that, where the consumers
who are our readers as well as our friends
and well-wishers, can interact with and
learn more about the businesses in their
community. We want everyone to feel at
home."
Melissa Hunte, VP, CV Magazine, is thrilled
with the many opportunities that the event
presents to their loyal readers as well
as to local businesses. "We feel
that there is great potential for developing
new customers, job opportunities and business
synergies" she said. " I think
this is a great concept. We encourage
everyone to come with an open mind and
be prepared to mix, mingle and network
‘til the last drop."
The session which is Business Networking
plus Monthly Party, promises to be a substantive
affair with members of the press, CV's
Management Team and Business Executives
as well as specially invited guests. Although
the Networking Session is primarily focused
local and community-based businesses,
CV will also be inviting more National
brands to participate. Companies interested
in participating, or those who want to
learn more about the event, should call
Caribbean Media Marketing: 718-624-2393
or email: caribmedia1@aol.com.
