This month’s bachelor Phillip Miller, 29, is not a wait-and-see kind of guy. He is best described as a go-getter.

He immigrated to the US from the island of Jamaica at age nine. A college drop-out who was simply restless and wanting to work, he responded to an ad that turned out to be for a Real Estate position. The rest is history as they say, as this has been not only his career, but his passion. “I was totally in awe of the kind of salaries managers earned. That was my inspiration—and I wanted to do the same.” He was one of the youngest manager’s at the age 23 making close to a six-figure income. “It spoils you,” he says. “My whole perspective on life changed. In my capacity as manager I had to train, supervise and motivate members of my team in a company with well over 100 staffers. It demanded creativity and self-motivation.” He became the second top producer in his company. He has since moved on to opening his own Real Estate firm—Big Sun Realty. This is my new challenge,” he says.

Phillip, the entrepreneur rarely has time for “play” but realizes that his ultimate success should be shared with someone special. “I work hard and I realize I need to play a little.”

“Downtime for me involves sightseeing, travel, an appreciation of art, going to the movies, fishing and a rare passion for shopping. Women who are independent, vivacious and lovers of the outdoors turn me on. My ideal romantic date would involve lots of surprises and spontaneity… maybe dinner, exploring different cuisines—Mexican, Asian, and any other exciting possibilities the evening might bring.”

One could easily conclude that this astute businessman possesses an adventurous spirit and would definitely add some pizzazz to your world.
