Mark Anthony is an observer. He is that laid back brother that you find soaking in the atmosphere of life. Mark is constantly taking mental images. This trait is no doubt the secret behind the uniquely creative designs of his graphics company.

Mark has always been an artist with a twist. In his native Jamaica, he could always be found sketching the landscapes and cityscapes surrounding him. When he migrated to the United States in his teenage years he became fascinated with computers. He originally received his Bachelors degree from City University in Computer Science. However, after working in the corporate arena for several years he became disenchanted with the lack of creative freedom.

In the late 1990’s this ambitious young man decided to pursue his freedom and started his own graphic design firm, S1 Design Studio. He was then able to incorporate his two passions, art and computers, as well as enjoy the challenge of being an entrepreneur. Today, his company provides services to many of the entertainment industry’s top publications and event promoters.

One of the pitfalls of his entrepreneurial lifestyle is that he became so focused on building his company that he has forgotten the motivation. When he sits in his office his feels content to look around him at the business he has built, but realizes that he needs to balance his life out with a special someone.

Mark loves the nightlife. He enjoys good food, good friends, and interesting conversation. When he isn’t working he can often be found on the dance floor of the latest hot spot. But the club life isn’t where he’d like to find his Cleopatra. Using his artistic sense of imagery he describes his ideal someone as having a “bright and vibrant personality that injects her unique color into my world everyday”.
