Kamui, pronounced Kam-we, means The Chosen One and speaks the personality of this bachelor. When you meet Kamui you cannot help but be struck by his kindness and humility. This gentle giant, rising a few inches north of six feet, is the epitome of a gentle man. His nature puts you at ease and doesn’t even hint at the talent that lies beneath.

Kamui is an unlikely bachelor. Obviously attractive, this twenty-something model and performing artist would be the ideal mate to many a sister. However he is focused. A firm believer in the fact that you can only do your absolute best at one thing in any given moment, he has left the goal of being an excellent husband and father to later days.

As for right now, Kamui is devoted to his music. Music has always been a significant part of his life, whether singing in the church choir or performing spoken word, he always knew that music was his true love. And he has always believed that one day he would be performing in front of adoring fans. Through his perseverance, tenacity and commanding stage presence that day has come. While he waits patiently to ink a deal, he writes songs, writes rhymes and perfects his skills.

Understanding the value of a good education, especially when navigating the entertainment industry, Kamui attended American University where he studied Multimedia Communications and Business Management. He prides himself on being prepared for any road that life leads him down. But a business suit is not something this free spirit wants to have as a permanent part of his wardrobe.

When he is on stage he is trying to feel the pulse of the audience and tap into their emotions. “The thing that separates me from other artists is that my music can touch all ages – from teens to grandmothers. It’s real.” When he is not in the studio Kamui teaches Chinese and Japanese martial arts styles at his father’s martial arts school and works as a fashion model.

In thinking of his ideal woman, ‘independent’ is the first word that comes to mind. “She should have a good spirit, believe in God, take care of herself physically, mentally and spiritually. Most importantly, she should be supportive of me as I would be to her.”

Kamui wears a special bracelet with an inscription we can all learn from. It says – ‘My Dreams. My Blessings.’ He’s going for it. And with his talent, he’ll make it.
