Dustin Adams, pka Blacface,
like most men, relishes his status as
a bachelor. But there are times when bachelorhood
breeds monotony and for Dustin, he’s
at that point in his life, where the need
to have someone to share fun-things and
time with outweighs the selfish overtures
of being single.
He grew up in Yonkers, New York with
his parents who have been married for
more than thirty-eight years. He feels
blessed to have been instilled with strong
family values, and to have been exposed
from an early age to the arts, performing
in the church choir since he was five
years old. He began acting in local talent
shows, plays and eventually in Off-Broadway
shows in New York City such as “The
Blacker the Berry, the Sweeter the Juice”
and “This Christmas”.
He attended Westchester Community College,
majoring in communications and performing
arts and considers himself a very rounded
individual who enjoys different interests
such as reading, dancing and volunteering
time with the youth. He is currently pursuing
a career as an R&B singer and has
big dreams to accomplish.
Dustin definitely enjoys the company
of fine females and has a keen eye for
the fairer sex; not just the physical
elements but for inner attributes that
make the total package complete. He is
quick to point out that even though the
physical interactions excite him, he really
gets interested when the right attitude
is on display. Bad feet and slang-talk
gets him running in the other direction.
A single, smart, confident, pretty woman
who believes in a higher power, has the
leg up on the competition with a hand
on the key to his heart and definitely
has a decided handicap on obtaining the
key to everywhere and everything else.
This bachelor is not afraid to define
himself, “I think I have a great
sense of humor. I am generous, kind-hearted
and open-minded. I like to have a good
time but I am on the other hand very easy-going.
I’ll always be respectful to a woman,
but I am down for whatever! Dinner and
dancing or something totally spontaneous
is great.”
He sees himself in the next five years
at the top of his game, with his first
album, currently being recorded at ‘Bigman
Productions and Underground Recording
Studio,’ hopefully becoming a smashing
success. “I intend to make “Blacface”
a household name” he says. As an
aspiring singer Dustin knows of the roller-coaster
ride that the entertainment business brings.
He has toured with the likes of Mary J
Blige, as a back-up singer before embarking
on his solo career. “Eventually,”
he says, “after I’ve done
what I’m suppose to do as far as
my professional endeavors are concerned,
I look forward to finding that special
someone and having a bunch of little ones
running loose.”
With the high expectations that Dustin
has for his career, one should not be
surprised that he desires a quality companion,
a level-headed soul who will not be fazed
or deterred by the demands of a relationship
with someone in the world of entertainment.
He is mentally and physically fine-tuned
and chomping at the bits to introduce
and explore possibilities.
