Welcome to Caribbean Vibe & Urban
Entertainment Magazine; your link to New
York City’s Caribbean community.
We are here to answer the question, ‘who
is really representing the style and voice
of the Caribbean massive in New York City’?
The Caribbean population in this city
is different from any other. We are sometimes
fresh from yard and sometimes second
generation, but we are always unique and
always savvy. Being in New York City makes
us sharper than most and more aware, so
we need a different type of magazine.
There are many publications out there
covering business, entertainment, beauty,
fashion and fitness specifically for African
Americans, and they are definitely holding
it down. However, I looked around one
day and realized that there was no magazine
that offered readers a look at the fullness
of the Caribbean experience in New York.
Caribbean Vibe & Urban Entertainment
Magazine is stepping up to the challenge
of presenting an innovative, Technicolor,
reading experience. You deserve it! In
this vast metropolis, where transplants
from any number of island nations jumble
together on one city block, there is a
need for a cultural tour guide that will
show out the greatness in all of us. We
are going to explore the music, politics,
food and fashions of our city within the
city. So let’s link up and tour
the islands month by month, and don’t
forget that every borough is really just
an island anyway.
[your choice!! - Peace! Cool! Whatever
you like as a sign off]
